My smile kept growing, a real one, feeling strange and wonderful on my face as I dragged my suitcase the final stretch. The weight of it didnโt matter. Each clumsy thump of the wheels over the pavement was a drumroll home. I was here. I turned the corner into my street, the smile so wide it stretched my cheeks.
And it dropped.
